    SS & Rail Buckle

I just bought a small group of items all were pretty nice and I believe all good. But these two pieces are not something I've studied so I don't know how to spot the good fakes. I will keep them, but would also like to know the value.

First is 3 photos of the SS, the second one is without flash, that is why the difference in color tint.

              Hallo,

I agree with Schorschi : both the buckles are original.
Just a request : is the Railroad one made of steel ? Is it magnetic ?

                rail

The railroad is aluminum with the catch soldered on, it is aluminum too, Cross bar and prongs are steel.

Can someone make me feel warm and fuzzy and give me a value on the two?

Nice mint SS buckle !! they sell for around 500 in this condition.
The railroad is also nice, alu. ones are not so common.
