any ideas on this item. I posted it here as it reminds me of the front of a buckle. My idea is that is is something used possibly by fakers but I am probably wrong. If I had to make a guess at the material I would say lead. The back is flat.

your item bears the features of a well known fake SS insignia (for buckle) made in East Europe.
