              Hallo Coco,

just a request : are you able to read the maker's mark on the leather tab ?

              Thanks in advance

                Dear Ric,

I really tried to read it but the area is too far worn out....I cannot make it out....I am sure, however, that Marc Verstraete can say what the maker is, just by seeing the back of the buckle...So we'll see maybe there are other reactions....

                Thanks for your interest!

                  Coco,

it's the first time I observe a LW iniection molded with its original leather tab, so it could be a good occasion to reveal who is the maker
Now we only have to hope Marc does notice this thread.....or someone else does post another one with tab
Anyway thanks for your prompt answer

                  Ric

                    molded luftwaffe

                    hello,
remember we had this molded typed discussed a while ago?!
i just got one with leather tab. before that i thought they where private purchase.
the markers mark is very weak, but i am quite sure its:
                    R. SIEPER und SÖHNE, 1939.

                    what a surprise!

                      Hallo Sven,

I remember a previous thread about the molded buckles for Heer and LW, but I don't remember any of them with leather tab.
                      Could you post yours ?

                      Thanks in advance

                        Hi Coco,

of course a very interesting story.
I assume, the price you've paid for the buckle was according to the condition not to high.

                        Congratulations to your nice find.

                        Regards,
                        Guido
