SS Police Officers belt and Buckle help

Hi!
I was wondering if I could ask you guys a question? We saw a SS Police Officers Belt and buckle the other day. It looked incredible in every respect but we did have one question to it. The backing material was a gabardine material, would this be correct?

Hi Bob,

yes it's correct, you may find SS Belt Brocade backed with different materials : velvet - wool - gabardine in 3 colours : black, WaffenSS green, Police green.
