Rodo wing flaw

Hello dear Sirs! This mint Rodo SS buckle was on e-stand not long ago. it's 1st type Rodo SS buckle and it doesnt have flaw . Am I right? http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=177656

Very interesting. Yes, that does appear to be a nice type 1 without the "characteristic" on the wing. What is also interesting is that the details on the wreath seem to be a little more crisp than most type 1 buckles. Perhaps that buckle was stamped while the molds were still new and the "characteristic" developed later after some use... just a thought. Excellent buckle Thanks for bringing this to our attention sturmtrupp.
