Convincing army buckles from eastern europe?

I didn't think that there were any convincing copies of the army buckle in steel but have been told that there are some very good fakes coming out of eastern europe. Apparently, the catch on these fakes has a tell tale detail that gives them away. Does anyone have one of these new generation of steel fakes that they could share some photos of? I am concerned because I am about to receive a buckle that I have purchased off the e-stand seems to have this detail on the catch. I don't have the buckle in hand yet but I do have the seller's photos if required.

    Cheers, Steve

In the last couple of years I've seen fake Army and Luftwaffe buckles with leather tabs. In the overall scheme of things leather tabs are the easiest thing to reproduce. Be careful out there.

Yes, that would be fine. Anything that I can use to learn what is on the market these days would be beneficial.

            Cheers, Steve
