I like what I see - leather, sewing, hook - looks all fine.

But I know that RME45 is used on fakes though. Maybe someone who has a better knowledge of modern repros may add something to this thread.

As Mike said - everything look fine. But something look suspicious for me maybe I 'm wrong ). You have to wait for other opinions.

I could not find a reference to RME as a known TR leatherworker.I do think that the belt is late ........as in late last week.

this 44 dated looks good too - I say Yours is a real one late war belt - its unissued.
we maybe in trouble if will see lot of these poping up (that means new fakes are coming) - but at this point I like both presented belts - thick leather - right color of leather - good sewing thread..... nice !

PS.Robert - RME is a known lather gear maker - including G43 pouches etc...

I didn't win this belt, beacouse I found differents between belt from aukro.cz and belt from ostfront.com


IMHO belt from ostfront.com is genue - I like leather, sews etc. but please take a look on a belt from aukro. cyphre "4" is different and all fonts in "RME 45" are different as on belt from ostfront.com.
This fact stop me in bidding. And I'm happy of that I didn't won it.
and one more thing - please take look on holes in belt from aukro (pic7) - that is not machine production. holes are very small and almost all of them are different. Belt from ostfront have got big clear holes and all of them are identical

Maybe I'm wrong, but IMHO this is a very good fake, leather in perfect condition, sews looks good - but not very good and original metal hook wich is not a problem to find.

Jurgen - a guy who won that auction os a buddy of mine - most of the time he knows what He is buying. I will ask Him to make better pictures of that belt after it arrives

I don't know guys. I am not prepared to say these are fake. But, my gut tells me to be suspicious.

That RME45 bothers me more than the 44s.

Are those metal tips (whatever we call them) consistant with late war styles?

hallo all.i have onelly one qeustion about the marking.how are type stampt in the fectory.110 is it made whit a stamp machine (mall) or out of hand.i always qeustioned that my self ,because the 110 is not in a streat line.the are a little bit sunk.i hope you all understand what i mean.
