    Heer buckle JFS

    Hello collectors.
Recently in the ground this has been found buckle. ManufacturerJFS.But it is surprising that at this bucklethe aluminium tube with claws is established. Whether it is possible that installation is made at a factory or it is alteration in field conditions???? What your opinion????

    Hello Vlad,

perhaps the buckle is from the transitional period, where the manufactors changed from aluminium to steel (1940). I can suggest, that they use the rest of their stocks to complete the new steel buckles. I don't think that this was made in the field.

Are you sure, that this is a ground dug buckle?

    Regards,
    Guido
