    1st pattern Luftwaffe buckle

    Hello all,

I will show you my 1st pattern Luftwaffe buckle with crank catch.

What me makes wonder with this peace, is the lack of pebbling inside the wreath on reverse side. Similar Springer buckles which have been posted in this forum are always with pebbling in this area.

Has anyone an idea to the meaning of this detail?
Principally I have a good feeling with its originality.

    Any opinion is very welcome!

    Regards,
    Guido

          Hello all,

          no opinions?

Any other impressions (apart from the pebbling), perhaps to the originality, are welcome.

          Regards,
          Guido

            Hi Guido,

nothing wrong with your nice buckle, although by the same dealer I noticed several fake ones offered like original.

            Best

              Hello Ric,

              many thanks for your reply!

Yes, you're right, there are known fakes and other doubtful pieces in his assortment!

              Regards,
              Guido
