    N.S.B.O. roundels

    A selection of N.S.B.O. roundels.

If anybody would like a full image of any particular buckle, then please let me know.

More importantly, if anyone has a design to add, then feel free.

    Regards,

    David

    David,

What an absolutely great selection of varients ! I don't really know what more to say! Also if I'm correct there were no organizational standards either therefore, many varients of this buckle.

The variations within the N.S.B.O. family seem to be endless, although there does seem to be the common thread of three main types. (1) wide wreath, (2) narrow wreath and (3) N.S.B.O. badge directly affixed to a plain field.

No regulations though and hence, the immense number of designs, some of which are sublime.

There is however a very interesting, unusual and distinct N.S.B.O. buckle that has been languishing on a German dealers web site for a while and actually, appears within a buckle reference publication. It shows an industrial landscape and has been briefly mentioned within the forum.

The N.S.B.O. buckle is of course faked, both with a wide and narrow wreath design.

Attached is a group of N.S.B.O. buckles, posted on behalf of Kirby. Many thanks Kirby.

Anymore that can be added chaps ?

      Regards,

      David

Hello David Thanks for posting my buckles. I always liked the variations. I'll have to take a closer look at NSBO buckles at the maxx and sos. Thanks again Kirby

                            Fake N.S.B.O.

The two most common roundel designs (one is duplicated of course), in relation to FAKE N.S.B.O. buckles.

                            Regards,

                            David

Such variety....... Thanks also for showing the fake roundels as a comparison, the details on these are definitely not as crisp.

                              Cheers
                              Don
