    Luft belt & buckle question???

Hi, I picked this set up at a vet's estate sale years ago and would like to put it on the Estand for sale. It doesn't have the buckle connector. Is the buckle connector missing from the part that is shown in the picture? Thanks for any help, DEL

May the forum have the benefit of images in relation to the reverse of the buckle ?

You are quite right about the strap. The original hook device has at some time been replaced. An enlisted grade strap with a non simpatico "leaders" fixed gate.

        Regards,

        David

Many thanks for posting a reverse image of the buckle.

I assume that one of the forum members with a specialised interest in relation to Wehrmacht-Luftwaffe will comment.

            Regards,

I think they used this belt in combination with a Luft parade buckle..,something illegal but sometimes done..
Could also have been altered postwar, hard to tell.......
