      Hallo,

the buckle is without doubt original, but not for tropical uniform IMO.
The belt is an interesting variation of the more common web belt used in tropical areas.

Like Ric said, no doubt about the buckle being good, although not of the "tropical variety". Not in itself a reason to worry, though. "Tropical" kit was not only used in Africa, but inter alia also in Italy, the Balkans etc. Quite possible to have a "standard" Heer buckle on a web belt. Looks like a nice set to me, but have to add I don't know too much about German WW2 web belts.

          Best regards,

          Karl

Thank you VERY MUCH for all comments gentlemen!!!

Regarding this strange web-belt, A forum member told me that is: (quote) scarce original Berg und Nolte german Heer tropical web belt, Should come with a so scarce tropical Heer buckle marked B&N with web tab that hold a rivet in the middle and a small piece of leather stiched on.

            Deeply thanks again.

Im not able to confirm the web belt was also made by Berg & Nolte. The buckle pictured is by Ernst Schneider and bears the same kind of web tab, later I will show the same buckle by Berg & Nolte if you wish.

                          Web belt

Hi, Just wondering how rare is this belt. I have an opportunity to purchase one. What would be a fair price for one ? Thanks, Doug

                            Doug,

the variant tropical belt I posted is quite scarce, so far I found out only one.
As for me I would pay 200 $ and more for a belt in same condition (without buckle).

Of course my apologize if the question was referred to the standard tropical web set.......

                            Hope this helps

                            Best

                              Scarce Belt

Ric,, Thanks for the reply . Believe it or not I just purchased two of these belts along with what may be a km blue buckle and a km patch. The seller had three and I missed one. He just got the stuff from his father in law who had just passed away. His father in law was in the service in Europe WWII where he picked the items up.. I'm trying to get in touch with the party that got the other belt. Maby he will sell it. Many thanks for the info, Doug
