Stahlhelmbund Officer buckle?

This nice buckle was part of a large (and early) 'Stahlhelm Bund' lot I recently acquired...It belonged to an officer and 'Fahnentr******228;ger'.

I assume the buckle is an officer type.....What do you all think?

Although there is well documented a "leaders" Der Stahlhelm buckle, leaders and men within this organisation, tended to wear the box buckle.

Numerous designs of course.

The one that you have shown, displays a distinct and intense wreath of oak leafs, that is well known on Der Stahlhelm buckles.

Hey Coco! What a cool Stahlhelm buckle I think it looks fantastic! No doubt original. Wish I could help you with the info you're looking for but at least I can say that this is a real deal buckle. Would look awesome in my collection!
