I do not know who you are getting the piece from...but if it is from an "old school" dealer they do not keep up with some of the newer fakes and I am sure the fellow sold you the piece in good faith...heck nobody can keep up with all the fakes...the above fellows who commented know their stuff.

Johnny, you are absoulutely correct on this. It was sold in good faith that the buckle was original, and I am not going to hold him to his "double money back" guarantee. I just wanted to know what's what on this one, and thanks to all the information given I was able to quickly find out. You can't beat this forum for getting answers to questions!
