Sorry.....but I'm leaning towards a reproduction buckle. Eagle doesn't look right and the three solder points on the back don't look good either. Any opinions on the prongs?

I actually think that this is a very interesting fake and primarily, because of the "box". The pin shroud and claws could easily pass for being original, although the distinct and irregular "ears" to the "box" are those, well known on the forum by other fakes shown.

A pebbled obverse finish though !

An interesting variation, although still a fake with the well known "fingerprint" of the odd "ears" and the three vertical solder spots.
