    Postschutz Buckle

    Hello,

Thought I'd show a couple photographs of a nickel silver postschutz buckle I picked up a few months back. The overall condition is great with some very minor wear . The front of the leather tab is maked Schmole & Comp. Menden 1935 and the reverse is marked DRP Ffm for Frankfur/Main. Hope you like and I would love to see any varients anyone else has. A very exceptional and one of my favorite TR designs.

    Regards,
    Steve

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Don I believe you also own a nice minty example if my memory serves me correctly. If I could just get an aluminum one with a tab then I could sleep at night.

Also, has anyone ever encountered one of these in steel? I've only ever seen one pictured on the forum. Also, are the nickel varients always unmarked? I've never seen one that is maker marked. If anyone has a marked one I would love to see it.
