    I am considering placing this buckle on the e-stand. Would like to have some opinions before I do. All positive and negative opinions wanted .

              Thanks for the comments guys. The issue of the buckle being painted may very well be the case. This was brought to my attention by another experienced buckle collector. As to when it may have been painted is anyones guess. Thanks again, you all have been most helpful.
