Hallo,

although the insignia on the face plate appears nicely detailed, many features of the box make me suspicious
Nothing else to add, waiting for specialized collectors opinion.

In my opinion, this is not a fake SA.

Instead, it is a "fantasy" buckle.

Actually and my apologies for being a trifle facetious, this buckle is now openly available as a fake, either with a brass or nickle plated brass box.

I have never seen an original SA buckle with either this design (a few are jolly close) or the strange ear folds to the box.
