Would like some advice to this buckle - nice buckle but I do not know enough about whether these existed or is this by-product from the war where someone decided to capitalize on. - Thanks KC1

Opinon - WWII Firemans Buckle???

Oh, they exist all right. The design (the emblem) is a standard one common from before WW1. Also taken up again after WW2 by West German fire brigades. This one cannot be of Third Reich origin, though, but must be post-WW2. Remember that in 1936 all fire fighting services were incorporated into the police, as Feuerschutzpolizei for the professionals, and Feuerlöschpolizei for the volunteers. No steel buckles of this type were made before 1936. It's a very nice piece, just not of WW2.
Best regards, Karl
