SS Buckle - Opinion

It could be me being paranoid, but there is something about the markings on the buckle that just don't seem right. Could be wrong here ... but given the general condition of the buckle, the markings seems very clear! They also appear to be inscribed differently than what I'm used to seeing.

Let's see what others say....I'm not 100% on it....

My exact thoughts as well. Very clear and pronounced while the remainder looks heavily worn, and aged.

As always, I appreciate your feedback. Hopefully others will chime in as well.

Both of the buckles shown are bad. The easiest giveaway on these is the construction as well as the markings.

Extremely well transformed... who-ever is doing this has good knowledge of faking patina! It will fool many people in the future....
