Flemish "RECHT en TROUW" buckle Fake and original

Several members have asked me to show the differences between the original and fake Flemish Black brigade Wolf hook buckles.
On the picture below one can see on top the two variations of original buckles. The bottom one is the commonly encountered fake.
Underestimate outside Belgium these buckles are in fact very scarce and almost only encountered in Belgium and Holland.
They should be part of all good SS buckles collection. As these formations where part of the Algemein SS in Flanders and the Netherlands

        Reitz Belgium.
What was first? The hen or the egg.

The third, shown here, looks like the fake.

The bottom one is a fake. The top two are the only original patterns I know of.

            Sorry,
I've said this xx times on this forum already
E.REITZ uniformwerke never made any buckles !

There were indeed Belgian made buckles , the ones with the well known big nob on top of the claw bar.
But none of them were made by E.Reitz.

In fact the factory ordered a lot of buckles themselves for their Werkschutz units.
Unfortunately the documents regarding this order was lost when the factory was looted at the ende of the war.
All I know comes from members of the reitz werkschutz who I interviewed.

            Werner
Interested in all E. Reitz Uniformwerke items.

I guess you can call them a Reitz style buckle. The Werkschutz Reitz buckle has kind of given the Reitz name to ever buckle produced by whatever company actually produced them.
