    Need Assist -

Here is buckle I am thinking about buying (I have till 9pm tonight). It looks original but I am not sure I have seen this particular maker mark before. Any help would be appreciated.

hmmmm.....there's something I don't like about this buckle. I'm not an SS buckle expert....but the front is all worn yet the back is top shape!!????
I am suspect of this one to its authenticity (and why only 'till 9pm? Pressure tactic?).
Let's hear what others have to say!

I can tell you without a doubt that this buckle is a common fake... probably the most common fake we see on the forum. Only difference is that there are a variety of maker marks and hooks, but the front and in particular the eagle is always the same. Study the eagle and notice the how the chest comes to a sharp point. This feature does not exist on any original buckles. Once you learn to recognize this feature you will be very surprised at how often you see it on the internet.
