    FKO HEER BUCKLE - Opinions...

Just picked up this buckle with its leather tab a few days ago. It is marked FKO, which I believe stands for "Friedrich Keller of Oberstein". I have done a search on the forum and have found a luftwaffe FKO marked buckle and what appeared to be an unfinished FKO Heer buckle. I believe mine to be original, but would like to see other examples. Does anyone have pictures of a Heer FKO buckle they could post so that I may compare it to mine? All opinions are welcomed. Thanks

    Best Regards
    Mike

          Hi Mike

Here is my one to compare. It's an early piece from 1936 without a maker mark on the buckle. I think the pebbling on obverse is quite crass. This type of pebbling is also found on reverse.

          Regards,

          Guido

Thanks for responding to my request . I have however already seen the thread on the FKO luftwaffe buckle and am actually hoping to find a FKO Heer Buckle (maker marked) to compare to mine. Again, thanks for all the help.

                      Hey Mike,
Here's a worn one with the makers mark on buckle and on leather tab.
                      Regards,
                      Kevin
