Need some help. Not sure if this buckle is one of the fake 36/40 or if it's good?

Been looking at past threads, and I'm more lost now than when I started!

this SS buckle 36/40 marked is original

Aluminum SS buckle made by Overhoff in 1940. It is a Type 1 (single ring around SS runes). To the best of my knowledge only Type 2 (double rings around SS runes) has been reproduced.

It's good to know this buckle is original and not a fake.

However, I still don't know how to tell the difference.
