    A Graf Zeppelin/Hindenburg or a 1936 Berlin Olympics buckle perhaps ?

Fortunately, they all stand out like the proverbial "Pork Pie at a Barmitzvah".

    Regards,

    David

David, is it only the images in your possession ?
or you was able to get it in hands ? ( it is hardly, according to the pics )
any stories around them are greatly welcomed.

                            Thanks for sharing.
                            Alex.

I do not think that it does us any harm to be aware of the fakes, copies and fantasy items, whether they are good, bad or indifferent.

There was a recent thread on the Collectors Community Forum where a member was asking for information about a particular German dealer. Not one that I know particularly well, although I had a squint and these buckles came tumbling out.

In all fairness to the dealer though, the majority are being advertised and sold as fakes or copies with commensurate prices.

Worthy of mention however is that I personally found this site jolly difficult to navigate.

                              Regards,

                              David
