1943 Tabbed KM Buckle

Dear all, a while ago I posted a thread with a GB marked KM buckle, well it has now arrived Please excuse the Leder Fett on the leather tab, it was very dry and needed some TLC. The buckle is Stamped GB in the normal place and is stamped 43 under the roller bar. The tab has the big M and eagle previously discussed in the other thread. The makers mark on the tab is very hard to read but I can make out 1943. Do we think that this tab belongs to this buckle? 1943 dated? The tab to me looks original; it was dry and had not been put there recently. It came with a set of nice ammo pouches and KM marked set of Y straps and KM marked belt which I believe was its original partner in the war. Your opinions would be most grateful.

Could you take some pics of the overall tab (less close), both sides?
I have some concern with the stiching...
I think it might have been post war stiched.

just to confirm that Gustav Brehmer Firma has manufactured belt buckles for the KM in the 1943 .

Thanks Ric, very nice buckle, I like GB buckles for some reason here are the pics you requested Simon, if it has been done post war it must have been done a while ago.
