SS Buckle - Comments?

Hello guys,

Could you please share your thought about this buckle. Any red flags that are there? Why the observe appears to be so nice and the back of the buckle is so dark (tarnished or else)?

hello,
nice and original buckle from the maker overhoff, lüdenscheid the front is polished or cleaned at the back its patina. material is nickle silver.

When I see the prices of the SS buckles at the latest SOS.... I would say 200$ in this condition...

Yes, these prices are what I refering to.... the DUCK is realy going crazy... But more realist prices are as folow : I bought two full text overhof buckles at the SOS for 400$ each, there was one other for 550 that I did not buy and I bought 3 regular O&C ( like the one pictured above) in very nice condition for 350 each. These are now the aceptable prices I supose. This is why I estimated the above buckle, due to the condition at $200 but of course it could probably sell for a litel more I supose...
