Great buckles and belts! I have yet to encounter that variation.

It is the first time that I see this maker on a buckle of this type.

What do you think is the exact purpose of that manufacture?
Marc Verstraete said in the past it could be KM AK buckle...
My buckle has indeed a green/blue shade of color but it is not the case on all B&N buckle like this one.

Hi Simon,

P. Nash in his book (p. 166) reports : "...some paratroops appear to have worn a belt reinforced with metal eyelets but it is not known whether this was just experimental or perhaps a field modification." No confirmation if he is talking about web belt or the leather one, may be Willi is able to add something new about...

When I bought the belt, I've been told that it was a special paratroop manufacture, but I think this is only a legend.
Having already the matching buckle made me sure that it was not for that purpose, but for a seller, it is a great argument !

I agree that trying to attach any Fallschirmjäger use for these is a legend.

No problems with the above buckle, I posted a long tread on this variation a couple years ago on this forum. They are not common but as the construction of these belts are so unusual, many colectors don't trust them.
