Here is photo of the only known (as of today) SS EM buckle made from zinc by C.T.Dicke in 1942 and been Green painted.
This buckle was left in a German attic and was waiting for several decades to be found.
I can't say it was factory Green painted from factory (as it could rather been field done by the owner) since there is silver paint under the green paint BUT it is possible. The green paint was sprayed all over the silver paint, front and back, and was done when the silver paint was fully covering the buckle and has thickness expected for a factory paint. So, even if I do not believe so, it could.
In comparison, I took photos beside another SS EM zinc 822/42, which is standard color (silver painted).
Later I will post photos of my third which is also silver painted but with less paint remaing to front.
