the buckle is indeed original and probably the brocade belt too

Hi Your belt and buckle looks almost identical to a vet aquired set i've had for almost 30 years. The only differences i see is my leather is tan and the sliders on my belt are backed in the same material as the belt. Your sliders look like they are wool. Does your belt show any sign of a RZM tax stamp? Kirby

My opinion buckle a fake.
The order 36/40 has other fixture on the back.
But I think opinions Jean Pierre or Mark will be more right concerning this buckle.
