Hello all, got a new addition to my collection. The buckle is unmarked and I was wondering if anyone had a similar one like it so I can try and put a maker to my new addition. It may be O & C but I am not sure. Answers on a postcard please

Anyway, an interesting DRB buckle Ben.
I must admit, I have never seen one like this before. Of note are the extended ears on the box and also, the size and the positioning of the brazed catch. There are subtle differences to the obverse (thank you for the images Don), as can be seen from the attached photo merge.
Regards,
David
p.s.
The buckle that you mentioned Ben is more than likely by Assmann (note the slight kink to the claws).Last edited by David North; 09-10-2006, 09:35 AM.

Another very unusual DRB buckle (and strap), posted on behalf of Maik.
Silver "washed" brass.
Inner extract of the associated strap, clearly marked Kassel and 1937, although the initials RBD (Reichs-Bahn-Direktion).
