          Hi Lassi,

the buckle is not original , probably molded from an original one.

          Regards

Hello Lassi, here are dimensions for the 36 maker (Overhoff&Cie) 49x64 mm. Also 1.5mm thick on the light alloy. Buckle seems fine but try measuring it or slip it on a belt and see if it fits. The ones from old moulds are usually smaller, best of luck,Michael

Hi Michael, thank you for your reply, the buckel is not mine but I was thinking of buying it. I will ask seller for dimensions, thanks again for the help.

                Best regards Lassi

                  Hi Michael,

I agree with you but unfortunately only the first series didn't fit a combat belt, later the fakers were able to increase the internal space of the new production to fit a combat belt as the original ones.
IMO the lack of silver washing remains a leading indicator , of course if you have to decide without handling the buckle.

                  Regards

                  Ric

Hello Lassi, is the RZM and SS plus 36/40 under the prong bar and not in front of the molded catch? If so (under the the prong bar) not a good sign....trying to help....
