Hi Alex, I would save your money on this one. It is a copy of the prototype SS Officers buckle.

There is some info buried on the forum about these somewhere

    Cheers, Ade.

Once again, the WAF saves a "fool" his money.

      Thanks Adrian! As always.

              Guys,

It was just a little prank. The thread started out as a discussion on RZM markings over times, and then someone posted a Walther SS for comment. This is what I wrote:

"I believe you are aware of the fact that Heinrich Himmler did not commit suicide on the Northern German plain in 1945 (that was one of his Doppelganger [he had several, just like Saddam]), but was beamed up to the USS Enterprise just in time. Your buckle is of the pattern Himmler wore up there, and although ultra-scarce, not unique, as he presented it to a carefully-selected very elite circle of crew members as well. Information on the manufacturer is hard to come by (obviously), but it is generally accepted that only five were made on-bord. So far, no hard evidence has been found that the diamond-studded example is, in fact, genuine. Once the Enterprise's logbooks turn up on ebay, more might be learned."

Not really in good taste, I know. But someone else got into the spirit of things with this reply:

"Enterprise's logbooks will NEVER turn up on ebay.
I know because I have the original's, I know beyond any doubt that I have the original log's because they are RZM marked in bold wax crayon! and as for the diamond studded example of this very scarce buckle, well i have the original of that too, it is in the official paper bag of issue which is maker marked "lucky bag".
please note: that i will not respond to PM's asking me to sell these items."

              Trust I haven't offended anyone.

              Best regards, Karl
