Let me go on.
The next one, I would like to introduce to your attention is
Bahnpolizei after 1935.
IMO. it was dug out, but still in a nice preservation.

any comments are greatly welcomed.

A jolly nice buckle Alex.

The aluminium DRB as commonly either unmarked or R. S. & S., being very difficult to find in sound condition and certainly, when compared to the earlier nickle silver type.

Are there any signs that a R. S & S. logo may have been ground off from the leading edge of the buckle ?

Not sure that the buckle is "ground dug" and instead, it shows only minor oxidisation, rather than severe damage.
