It is a slightly odd WH buckle by several features and aspects.

This is also the second WH buckle to have recently appeared on the forum, where the maker is otherwise known as a badge and jewellery manufacturer.

    Regards,

    David

Hi David, you're sure that this buckle-maker is the second one here in the forum which also produced badges?
              What's about:
Klein & Quenzer? Knight's Cross etc.
              Osang? Luft- badges paratroop etc
Deumer? Iron Cross , German cross,
              Assmann? All Badges
Friedrich Linden ? Close Combat badges
              Paul Meybauer Paratroops
              Sohni Heubach Navy destroyer badges
Johann Feix General Assault with Number
              Berg & Nolte paratroops etc.

These makers i've checked out in ten minutes...there are much more and I've seen all these buckles from this makers here in the forum.
I think it is not unusual, that a maker has produced both: buckles and badges..

If you think, that LKO buckle is an odd one...okay why not it is your meanig..not mine.

Perhaps and with all due respect, I did not make myself particularly clear and if so, my apologies.

"...buckle to have recently appeared on the forum..."

I was really making reference to this buckle and the Kollmar und Jourdan buckle, the latter posted by Sven.

Anyway, thankyou for the lesson on particular buckle manufacturers with their otherwise varied manufacturing interests - greatly appreciated.

                Regards,

                David

Sorry, for this misunderstanding...one single word like "recently" and it makes a completly different meaning.
                  The language ..
That's the reason, why I write here in this forum very few.
My intention was not to give you a lesson..it's only a missunderstanding not more.
Sorry again for my bad english -knowledges..I should polish them up...

We cannot guarantee many things in life, although one thing that I can guarantee 100%, is that this forum recognises the truly international status of the members. It is by default an English speaking site and I think sometimes, perhaps those of us who enjoy English as our mother tongue, may forget this at times.

There is absolutely no need to apologise for your English and I truly hope that any worry does not dissuade yourself from contributing to this forum.

Incidentally, the list that you provided is genuinely interesting and again, greatly appreciated.

                    Regards,

                    David
