This could either be a very interesting or a very boring thread, in connection with one particular aspect of the well known Berg und Nolte of Luedenscheid.
A prolific manufacturer of course and being involved towards the production of quite distinct steel buckles, as part of their large catalogue and furthermore, special identification features as possibly, unique for this company.
Attached is a photo merge of three steel buckles manufactured by B u. N as (a) DAF-Werkschar, (b) HJ and (c) SA.
My thanks to Chad for supplying the image of the HJ. In addition, the DAF-Werkschar and which is part of my collection, is I think very seldom seen in steel and in theory, should not exist.
The special characteristics to include a very distinct and narrow catch with easily recognisable feet, together with a raised RZM M4/30 mark, whereby the RZM logo and the supporting font styles, are exact in all detail to the trio.
Any others than can be added ?
Regards,
David
