    Help with several buckles

    Gents,
A friend of mine passed away some time ago and even though he collected modern day US stuff, there are some German TR pieces in his estate. Since I am not an expert in buckles I would like to hear your comments.

    Thanks,
    Harry

First looks like a pre-WW2, second one a late war Army, next three are lightweight parade type Army, and the last one political leader....All look okay to me except the last one...Bodes

As Bodes stated all look good... to include the last one which is a burnished aluminum Forestry Officials buckle and not a Political buckle..

And number 1 you can call a Reichsheer buckle from the Weimar Republic.

That is true, but in fact these buckles were officially worn by members of the Wehrmacht Heer until the introduction of the new buckles in 1936. Some soldiers continued to use them, then unofficially, until the end of the war.
