leather belt identification needed.

Does anyone know what this belt is for ? The catch does not fit an officers buckle. First time I have seen one with this type of catch.

I bought a bag full of catches and keeper about 20 years ago and it included one like this. I have never seen another one till this post. I can't think of any German buckle this would work wth.i

That is the final construction pattern, also for the web belts and the volunteer fire brigade belts and buckles. If you do a search on German ebay for e. g. NVA Koppel you will find lots of examples.
