    SS buckles for review

    All,

Not a buckle collector so looking for any thoughts on these two. I couldn't locate an exact match on the fakes page for WSS buckles so hoping they have a chance. Thanks for your time.

The first buckle is a original unmarked Overhoff with retouched svastika, the other SS buckle is fake

Thanks for the responses. Since the photos didn't post exactly as I wanted just wanted to confirm this is the original one pictured in this post. Does the retouched swastika completely destroy the value on this? It is currently for sale but not sure the value on it. Thanks again for reviewing the post.

Overhoffs are common in terms of SS buckles, so it would be better for somebody to just buy one w/o such alteration.....The wreath is also worn, so the buckle may have been de-nazified...Bodes

I would pass on the buckle unless it is super cheap. $50-60 would be hard to pass up.
