    SA Buckle - Fake ? or Real ?

    Hi, this SA buckle has been in my drawer since the 1970's. The metal is either nickel or steel and is strongly magnetic. I felt it may be a repro, but, is it ? Your opinions would be appreciated

        Your buckle is a nice original.
        Silvered SA/ NSKK buckles are less common against to the yellow ones and especially this magnetic (nickle over steel) variant from Overhoff is quite hard to find. So a little gem.

          Thanks, Guido, I did not display this buckle because of the possibility of it being a repro. Now it will come out of the drawer.

            You have a very nice original buckle. Back in the 70's some dealers thought any SA/NSKK buckle with marking was Fake. They didn't know the facts. I remember buying a buckle and the dealer and he covered the markings with his price tag,
