Hi folks. I got this messkit together with a worn Heer buckle. Is it tan above the field grey? Many thanks in advance!

Looks like it is on a leather tab. Who is the maker and the year. Could be a field painted buckle. Is the tan also on the back? Stright on front and back photos of the buckle is helpful.
