Thanks for the additional information and photos on fake boxes. Some look rather convincing to me, so just one more reason to use extreme caution when buying early buckles.

Hello again,

Sorry for taking so long to reply to this thread with the close ups of the HJ and Heer makers marks, but I have busy with the Army and other things. Thanks to everyone who has posted info on this thread and especially to David for posting the pictures of the fake buckles. I hope the close ups help ID these belt buckles as good or bad. I still have no idea what they are worth as I will be selling all the good buckles listed mid September so if somebody can give me a ball park figure that would be great. Again any comments and help is greatly appreciated.
