Appears to be a perfectly sound and actually, "textbook" example of the DRK leaders buckle.

Probably, although not definitely, by Overhoff.

          Regards,

          David

I know that could be three marks on this buckle, Ges. Gesch.1,2,3
            What do they mean????
Code of the industrial order or something other???

I think that the "jury is still out" in connection with your question.

At one time, there was the suggestion that the "1", "2" and "3" was actually a distinct makers code and although the DRK was produced mainly by Overhoff (JFS and R S & S marks seen and probably others), not exclusively so.

I think that it is a production run code.

Would be most useful I think, to see any DRK (enlisted or leaders)with the combination markings of a makers logo and 1/2/3, just in case there could be a pattern or sequence here.

              Regards,

              David

Agree totally with David's comments on this very nice buckle. Anybody have a '3' they would be willing to post? Or an enlisted '2'?

                Many thanks in advance.

                Regards, Karl
