The 1936 RAD buckle and designed by Jantke as a pure classic and regarded by many as one of the most elegant.
Interestingly though, not a buckle seen with a large number of variation or aberration design details by the numerous manufacturers who were involved in the quite prolific production of this buckle.
Here is one by Sohni Huebach of Oberstein and which still displays the prescribed "Old Silver" finish.
The slight difference lies with the back however.
Huebach's logo being set on the lip of the buckle, rather than within the reverse of the spade or spade roundel and the reverse of the spade, as almost "blind".
Regards,
David
