An otherwise unremarkable SA strap, other than being stamped with what I presume is the makers mark or logo of BERG.

Do we know anything about this manufacturer?

I never saw a hook of such kind earlier

What do you mean about the strap catch - this is the most common type that I see on the early "political" leathers?
