S A with "horizontal" wings

I thought that this SA may be of interest, as the "horizontal" wing pattern is quite hard to find these days. My own feeling is that the buckle is SA - pure and simple, with no SS connection whatsoever.

Does anybody have any thoughts though as to the 1920's/1930's era "dished" back buckles, being exclusive to Overhoff?
