SS Belt

I would like to know your opinion regarding this belt. I think it's absolutely original and in pristine condition; the only thing that seem strange is the steel belt hook. I have always thought that, for a such a belt, an aluminium one would have been more appropriate. Let's see what you think guys

Angolia shows one of these SS control tags in his revised belt buckle book. That one belonged to the late John Wahl. It had a grey painted steel catch and the adjustment strap was also SS stamped. His collections sold at Herman Historica maybe four or five years ago. I have never come across one of these SS tagged belts. A friend has a belt with the same style HJ DJ tag.
