    SS buckle opinion.

    What do you think about this buckle ?

        I agree, a nice, textbook steel Assmann SS EM buckle. Should be marked under the post sleeve assembly on this one, (either "RZM SS 155/40", or "RZM SS 155/43"). This one appears to have the basic silver paint, as there were other paint types used by this maker for their steel produced SS buckles, (some were done with mouse gray, or green, etc.).
        Anyway, nice buckle!

          a good one as rightly said , maker marking (RZM 155/40 SS) could be within highlighted area

              I believe you are right, Ric. I didn't even see that. It's very hard to notice the markings there with these the low quality photos. Good catch! Anyway, I will say this again, it's a nice original buckle.

                For advanced collectors it is very easy to recognize a classical 40 Type 1 straight from the beginning.
