    SS Assmann Buckle

    Hi All
Never sure with these buckles, Seller has provided crap photos. This is the only one that is half A##
    Opinions would be much appreciated

I have serious doubts, but one thing that it is for sure, there is no excuse for such terrible photography. This alone, is a bad sign, imo.

      Thanks Chris
I understand what you mean but I think the seller in this case is not very good at taking photos and has a crappy camera/technique
I have enclosed another shot of the reverse that is a wee bit better. Will try and get better shots of the front
      Thanks

Based on these pics, I strongly feel that this is a cast reproduction. Original Assmann SS buckles had very sharp and prominent pebbling all around the motto. This buckle just has swirly lines that look nothing like Assmann pebbling.
Also, I do not like the way that the top of the eagle's head looks like it has been flattened on the reverse pic.
Lastly, the catch appears to have heavy casting cracks along the surface, imo. Hopefully, others will offer more opinions here as well. Just my thoughts!

I will not go that fast to discard this buckle as a cast reproduction. But if you want to get a valid answer you have to post better pictures. There is no excuse for not taking something else of better quality!

                Thank you Jean Pierre
Negotiations with the seller have broken down as most of his pictures were such as these so I am not Really pursuing the buckle anymore.
Here are the last few I had but they are junk also
                Thanks
