Hello All,
I am back in Belgium after my trip to the US and the MAX show.
Tons of mail in my post box of course so I will need to work a few days in real life before I will be able to post some treads on the group.
It was a real pleasure to talk and meet with the peoples from the group who came to visit me at the MAX W.H award table.
The show was not as crowded as the other years; les good material and only little interesting buckles.
I had the chance to be able to buy a splendid PL cross-strap and a couple of more common buckles with markings I did not have in my collection yet.
Some new fake buckles surfaced (SS officers, TODT).
Back at my place in CT, I was also lucky, I was able to purchase from a veteran his WW II military trunk with all the goodies he “liberated” in Europe.
Amongst the flags, badges and documents, I had the surprise to discover two cuff-titles in Bevo: “Langemarck and totenkopf” and a few near mint buckles from who three SS ones!
All by all not a bad trip but happy to be back to my collection.
